About Deepak

Deepak is an accomplished professional who obtained his BSc in Oral Health from the University of Dundee in 2007, followed by the completion of an MSc in Advanced Periodontal Practice from the University of Essex in 2018.

On the 18th of January 2023, Deepak was awarded the Fellowship of CGDent (UK); a mark of commitment and excellence in practice, by none other than the first elected President of the College Of General Dentistry, Dr Abhi Pal.

His expertise lies in effectively addressing complex periodontal issues in primary care settings through non-surgical periodontal treatments.

Having worked in diverse dental environments including dental hospitals, corporate practices, and independent practices both in the National Health Service (NHS) and private sectors, Deepak understands the unique challenges associated with treating and managing periodontal patients in various general dental settings. He seamlessly integrates this first-hand experience into his teaching methods, equipping his audience with practical strategies for patient management and achieving successful outcomes through non-surgical approaches.

Participants of Deepak’s lectures praise the comprehensive nature, evidence-based content, and his ability to create an open, engaging, and interactive learning environment. He is often described as a motivational and captivating speaker.

Deepak actively contributes to the dental field through his writings in esteemed dental journals and his participation as a lecturer in dental events of national and international significance. Additionally, he organizes an annual volunteering trip to Nepal, focusing on promoting oral and general health, providing pain relief and delivering general dental treatments.

Presently, Deepak dedicates two days per week to practising as a dental hygienist therapist in a general dental practice. Furthermore, he conducts courses on various aspects of periodontology within the UK, all of which have been consistently sold out for the past nine years.
